Ella Guest is doing a think tank fellowship at the RAND Corporation.

Previously, Ella was a policy researcher at the Centre for the Governance of AI and a technology advisor at the UK’s competition regulator, the Competition and Markets Authority, focusing on digital cases. Prior to that she was a research associate at the Alan Turing Institute, the UK's national institute for data science and AI, and a policy researcher at the Centre for Data Ethics and Innovation, an advisory body to the UK government on trustworthy use of data and AI. She has a PhD in social statistics from the University of Manchester.
