Career Accelerator

The Horizon Career Accelerator is a part-time, remote program to launch your career in AI policy. Participants receive personalized support (mentorship, training, application coaching, etc.) to find and pursue policy opportunities.

Workshops & Events

Our events allow attendees to learn about the latest developments and opportunities in emerging technology policy, build their networks and meet experts in their field, and receive advice on pivoting their career toward their areas of interest.

Fellowship

Our Horizon Fellowship trains and places fully-funded fellows at federal agencies, congressional offices, and think tanks. Our fellows bring deep subject-matter emerging technology expertise and a commitment to public service.

AI Policy Leadership Network

The AI Policy Leadership Network (APLN) fosters connections among experienced AI policy professionals in government, think tanks and industry. Organized in partnership with the Foundation for American Innovation and the Center for a New American Security, APLN provides direct exposure to the people, places, and ideas at the forefront of American AI.

Our Emerging Tech Policy Careers website makes insider knowledge accessible to everyone. Based on hundreds of hours of research and dozens of practitioner interviews, the site features 100+ in-depth guides on policy pathways, institutions, and professional development tips.
